There are falconry experiences & there are falconry experiences.

Sussex Falconry offers a personal experience as a VIP Day, where you will be the only

customer on the experience. This way you will receive uninterupted attention,

flying & handling of which overall,will lend to be a more complete experience.

VIP Falconry Experience

The day starts with an introduction into The World of Falconry. You will then fly & handle a selection of birds of prey from around the world. An informative day about the birds & how they fit into the ancient art of falconry .

Half Day Falconry Or Owl Experience

Sussex Falconry recognises that not everybody has the time for a full day experience.

We therefore offer a half day experience, where you will still get to fly & handle a variety of different birds of prey, over half a day.

VIP Owl Experience

One of our most popular experiences designed for customers who have a passion for Birds of Prey, but "Owls" in particular. This day is dedicated to Owls handling & flying a selection of up to 9 different species of Owls from around the world.

Taster Vouchers

The ideal gift voucher if you are not entirely sure which experience to choose!

Taster Vouchers can be used in a variety of ways.

They can either be used for for what they are, a Taster of "The World of Falconry", or they can be used to upgrade to one of our other day experiences.

VIP Junior Falconer Day Experience

This experience is for juniors aged 08 - 17.
A similar day to the VIP Falconry Experience, except the birds used, are generally smaller & more manageable for younger, aspiring falconers..

Hawk/Owl Walk Experience

If you fancy going for a gentle stroll in the East Sussex countryside, in the company of a Bird of Prey, Sussex Falconry offers this opportunity to go for a gentle stroll accompanied by a trained Hawk or Owl.

VIP Field Day Experience

This is the experience for the person who wishes to see how hawks operate out in the field as predators. You will also get to handle & fly the hawk/s.

The day consists of taking a trained hawk/s into the field to pursue quarry, possibly accompanied by a trained falconry dog.

VIP Combo Day Experience

The VIP Combo Day starts with an introduction to the World of Falconry, whilst meeting the birds themselves. The morning then continues with handling a selection of birds & in the afternoon culminates with you going out into the field with a trained falconry dog & a hunting hawk/s to pursue quarry.

Photographic Workshop

£175

These relaxed days are designed for the person/s who has a passion for photography, but who wish to get up close & personal to the birds to try out their photographic skills, without wires & bars impeding that shot. This is also a perfect opportunity to test those lenses out, in controlled conditions.

Raptor Management Course

Looking to own a bird of prey, or just interested to find out what it takes to become a Falconer?

On this course you will be taught everything you need to know to be able to train, maintain & manage a bird of prey in captivity, whether it be an Owl, a Hawk, a Falcon or an Eagle!
