About Us 

 

Sussex Falconry is not a Falconry Centre, but is a close personal & private collection of 23 birds which form the core of the business. Some of the birds have been part of the collection for many years.

 

With over 20 years experience, gained from working at various centres/zoos across the UK & from travels within Africa & Europe, Sussex Falconry was established in 2003 with 6 birds. 

 

Being a completely mobile team, we can provide falconry at all levels, whether it be school or university educational visits, weddings, private demonstrations for personal & corprate events, fetes, fairs, fayres and festivals. this includes Television, film & music videos. 

 

Experiences are held in Herstmonceux, East Sussex & can be held at Fair Oak Farm, Mayfield, East Sussex. Both are surrounded by uninterupted views of the countryside & nature.

 

The highlight of the calender year is England's Medieval Festival, held annually in the grounds of Herstmonceux Castle, near Battle, East Sussex. Here the grandest of demonstrations are conducted by Sussex Falconry in the Royal Arena, in full medieval costume, with up to 20 birds & 10 other professional handlers from all over the UK, who come together to participate in this huge three day event, said to be the largest of its kind in Europe!
